Tamsin Harper, Clinical Intern
Practicing Since: 2024
Tamsin’s life-long dream is to work to support others in developing resilience, healthy coping skills, and overcoming barriers and trauma. She has experience working with a range of different individuals, cultures, and ethnicities. She is particularly interested in working with children and parents experiencing trauma to build healthy family relationships.
Tamsin believes in supporting clients to set and achieve their own goals through creating an environment of warmth, safety, and trust. She focuses on the individual by helping them to identify and develop their own personal strengths. She believes that the client knows best about their situation and offers a collaborative approach in supporting them.
Tamsin and her husband are from the United Kingdom and have been in the United States for many years. They love running, as they believe it greatly supports their busy lives and promotes positive mental health. They have three children and support them in activities like competitive dance, all-star cheerleading, and theatre. The family enjoys afternoons of board games and reading.
Tamsin is an intern practicing under the clinical supervision of Stacey Crosson, LMFT (VA License # 0717001506).
