Susan’s counseling environment provides warmth, kindness, and honesty. She offers a listening ear to understand the client’s needs and works with clients to find their unique strength-based solutions. She wants to help clients reach their goals and to thrive.
Believing that people are physical, spiritual, and emotional beings, Susan aspires to help clients see that an imbalance in any of these areas may impact their future life course. Knowing that some problems are beyond an individual’s control, she wants to help them find ways to live with those circumstances and move forward in peace and confidence.
Susan has Critical Incident Stress Management certifications in Assisting individuals in crisis, group crisis intervention, grief following trauma, understanding suicide and managing school crisis. She is also certified as a Chaplain.
Susan is married with children and enjoys working in youth ministries with her husband. She has a black lab and orange poly-dactyl cat. She loves coffee dates with friends, gardening, swimming, and spending time walking with her husband.
