Rachel provides a creative and expressive open studio environment utilizing art therapy techniques with traditional talk therapy. She utilizes many types of modalities into her treatment including: client-centered, solution-focused, reality-based, trauma-focused, and cognitive-behavioral.

Rachel believes that mental health is a component to a wholistic approach to well-being which also involves spiritual, emotional and physical health.

Rachel received her Master of Arts degree in Art Therapy from George Washington University and a BA in Psychology from Messiah University. Rachel is a registered and board-certified art therapist, trained in sand tray therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

In her spare time, Rachel’s favorite hobbies include exploring diverse cultural cuisines, traveling, and specializing in black and white pencil portraiture.
