George “Greg” Elliott, LCPC
Practicing Since: 1998
Greg believes that the client is the expert on themselves. He believes it is his job to help his clients face their problems and the roadblocks that are holding their lives back. He will assist his clients to learn the skills and gain the confidence to face and conquer these problems. Greg does not approach his clients with seeking to give all the answers, he would rather assist his clients in learning who they are including their strengths and weaknesses. He then wants his clients to gain the knowledge and ability to overcome whatever is preventing them from being the best person they can be.
Greg has worked with Service Members and their families for the last seven years. He has had the privilege of supporting various Service Members as they dealt with deployment and reintegration issues as well as relationship issues. Greg also has had extensive experience working with those who are struggling with addiction issues. He has worked as an Intensive Outpatient Coordinator as well as providing support and counseling in his own private practice. Greg appreciates the struggle and difficulties those dealing with addictions face.
Greg is licensed in the state of Maryland #LC3547.
