Amy brings together a solution-focused, family systems approach to the counseling room. This approach dynamically integrates Christian faith and psychological theories to come alongside clients in reaching their goals and developing strategies to lead more productive lives.
Amy has an eclectic professional background doing case management for treatment foster care, providing outpatient therapy to a variety of ages and populations, being an administrator, and working in managed care. She has extensive experience integrating faith and psychology as well as continuing education in solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, treatment planning, emotional regulation, communication, family systems, and trauma. Amy has particular skills and interest in family issues, parenting, communication, life stress, and women’s issues. Amy and her husband have been married for twenty years and have three children.
