Christian Carroll, LPC, LPCMH
Practicing Since: 2014
Christian’s counseling style entails utilizing validation, empathy, good listening skills, and a strength based approach to work with clients. It is important to come across as supportive and understanding as God is very patient with us when he came up with the plan for Jesus to save us from our sins so long ago. Christian’s style would use scripture to help clients to see different things that God wants them to know as well as to help motivate them toward change and for them to see a different perspective. As a clinician, he would take an interest and spend time in the first few sessions getting to know his clients as they can take time to ask him questions so they can build a healthy therapeutic alliance. Christian uses an eclectic approach to therapy using different interventions from Bowen, Solution Focused, Structural Therapy, and other trauma-focused approaches.
