Charlene Briddell, LCPC, CAC-AD
Practicing Since: 2006
Charlene promotes holistic therapy by incorporating various positive approaches. She focuses on a patient-centered view and an Adlerian approach. Adlerian psychotherapy is a humanistic and goal-oriented therapy. It highlights the individual’s goals towards success, a connectedness with others and their contributions to society. Charlene’s therapy sessions incorporate mindfulness integration, encouragement, and art therapy as needed. Often society emphasizes self-worth which often causes others to feel disconnected, or inadequate to others. Charlene’s goal is to use hopeful and positive approaches to remind clients to focus on the success of their future and not the past. Charlene’s favorite quote is, “Surround yourself with people whose definition of you is not based on your history, but your destiny.” Pastor T. D. Jakes
