Elaine seeks to provide clients with a warm, judgement-free atmosphere where they can feel free to lay down their burdens. Elaine will walk with clients as they seek to identify current issues in their life, heal from past wounds, and become empowered for the future. She utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
Elaine holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio Christian University. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Elaine is a former police officer who retired after 30 years of service as an investigator for the Office of Public Defender’s Mental Health Division. Elaine was certified as a Therapeutic Foster care provider for several years.
Elaine is married with three sons. She is the grandmother of three little bundles of joy. Her hobbies are to travel, fishing, and action movies.
