About: Susan is a Licensed Clinical Professional Art Therapist and is Registered and Board Certified with the American Art Therapy Association. She has been working with children and adolescents for 16 years. Susan has worked in two domestic violence shelters in the state of Maryland, providing crisis intervention and therapeutic services to families in need. She is passionate about stopping the abuse of children and ending the cycle of violence. Susan utilizes Art and Play therapy techniques and interventions to facilitate the healing process. Susan uses a humanistic, client-centered approach to therapy.
Susan believes her professional and personal experiences have led her to Safe Harbor Christian Counseling to continue her calling.
