About: Rose is a National Certified Counselor and has a Professional Counselor license in Pennsylvania. As a graduate of Towson University and The Johns Hopkins University, her professional experience includes various mental health settings as well as working for educational institutions. She has provided EAP services, multiple group modalities, family and individual sessions, and evaluations.
Rose spent 20 years living and working in Baltimore, providing counseling for clients with diverse and varied backgrounds. She has extensive knowledge of family and relationship dynamics and is trained in biofeedback. She developed several programs for areas such as pain management, women’s issues, addiction and the family, and stress management.
Rose has conducted numerous seminars on various mental health topics and has been both a clinical trainer and instructor. Utilizing multiple theoretical structures, as well as a wholistic approach, she is able to enter the world of a client and offer each individual validation as well as guidance toward a shift in either perspective or behavior. This process involves identifying perceptual, emotional, and spiritual barriers and nurturing inner resources. She defines her personal goal as helping others to heal their “wounded spirit.”
