About: Grant is a warm and compassionate clinician that delicately balances the therapeutic relationship between energetic engagement, professional intervention, and unconditional support. He recently earned his Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and earned his Bachelors in Social work though Taylor University, an accredited Christian university in Indiana. There he was given specific training on the intersection of therapy with Christian values, which has shaped his practice accordingly.
Grant utilizes an eclectic combination of therapeutic techniques to address individuals where they are, but uses a Cognitive Behavioral framework in most cases. This approach allows Grant to tailor interventions to each person while providing effective and evidence-based care regardless of the circumstance. His highly relational style allows individuals to feel at ease in working through life's difficulties and struggles in a safe and accepting environment.
Grant attends and serves at The Foundry church in Baltimore City with his wife Marycarmen. Grant attributes his passion and desire to be a counselor to God's unique gifting and design. He is deeply thankful to be able to come alongside each individual and help them in achieving their goals while building upon the natural strengths that God has cultivated in them.
