About: Carmen is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) who has a Master’s of Divinity in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She provides both individual and group counseling services by fostering client empowerment and self-determination through person-centered therapy using cognitive behavior and solution focused techniques, psycho-education, and mindfulness.

Her approach focuses on the utmost level of care and respect; promoting the mental, emotional and spiritual wellness of clients. Carmen’s aim is to accomplish this with compassion, empowerment, and techniques that foster growth and healing.

While Christian counseling is the vehicle by which God has called her to serve, since 2012 Carmen continues to work as a Reservist in the United States Air Force after 8 years of active duty service. She is also an active member in the body of Christ, loves teaching children's church and having a role in her women’s ministry and prayer team. She enjoys being a mother to her young son, and favorite hobbies include traveling, running, and yoga.
